There is nothing you can do about it without getting another modem. I believe an external modem can't be a winmodem 9 Duke on other platforms .... The program to do this is VDMSound and is available from http://ntvdm.cjb.net - install this. You should also install update1 from the same place.

If you're getting this error on 32 bit Vista then, um ... sorry, I dunno. Most frequent cause of that error is a corrupted biunary image, such that the Windows program loader cannot interpret the file header. Is it a COM file or an EXE file? Are you running it direct from the local hard drive? Which Compiler is it?

It turns out to be my hard disk size. I do not think it is running on DOS VM, i think it is your thread of imagination here. As always, if only 1 person is experiencing the error, it is local problem. If everyone is getting the error it is global. Since you are the only one with this problem, i would say you
